Açaí Berry Fruit Oil: Defends against daily environmental stressors
Açaí berry oil is exceptionally rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, alongside essential fatty acids and vitamins A, C and E. It helps defend skin against everyday environmental stressors, deeply supports the skin barrier, calms the look of redness, and helps brighten a tired-looking complexion. It's for daytime protection, not a substitute for SPF.

Bakuchiol: A gentle, plant-derived retinol alternative
Bakuchiol is a plant-derived alternative to retinol. Unlike traditional retinol, which can increase photosensitivity and is typically reserved for night-time use, bakuchiol is gentle enough for daily daytime use, supporting smoother, more even-looking under-eye skin without that sun-sensitivity concern.

Bisabolol: Calms and soothes the under-eye area
Bisabolol is a calming derivative of chamomile. It helps soothe the delicate under-eye area and supports a more comfortable, less irritated feel.

Squalane: Deep, lightweight hydration
Squalane closely resembles the skin's own natural oils, so it absorbs readily and helps keep skin hydrated through the day without ever feeling heavy. It's important for a balm that needs to sit comfortably under the rest of your routine.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil: long-lasting conditioning
Meadowfoam seed oil is exceptionally stable and rich in fatty acids. It deeply conditions and helps reinforce the skin barrier, and is also part of why this balm keeps so well without synthetic preservatives.

Cocoa Seed Butter: Rich, all-day comfort
Cocoa seed butter is a naturally emollient butter that helps lock in hydration and the other actives from morning through the day. It's what gives EOS its rich, balm-like texture and that light, mild scent.

Using your ring finger as it naturally applies the lightest pressure, apply a small amount gently around the orbital bone, working from the inner corner outward. Avoid direct contact with the eye itself.

A note from us if you have not used our products before: This will most likely be your first experience of a water-free, fully concentrated formula, so it will go further than you'd expect. Apply less than you think.

Is EOS Day Eye Balm safe to use around sensitive eyes?
Yes.EOS is fragrance-free with no essential oils, formulated specifically for the delicate skin around the eye. As with any new product, we'd always recommend a small patch test first if you have particularly reactive skin.

Does EOS replace my sunscreen?
No. EOS is formulated to help defend skin against everyday environmental stressors using antioxidants like açaí berry oil, but it isn't SPF. We'd always recommend using sunscreen as part of your morning routine alongside it.

Why does EOS have a scent if it's fragrance-free?
Our ingredients is absolutely natural and all of them have a certain scent. Açaí oil has a light, mild, faintly earthy character. What you're smelling is the natural scent of the ingredients themselves.

Is EOS Day Eye Balm vegan?
Yes. We use candelilla wax rather than beeswax, so both EOS and NYX are entirely vegan.

How long does a 10ml eye balm last?
Because the formula is water-free and concentrated, a little goes further than you'd think. Used every morning (both eyes), most people find a jar lasts around 2–3 months.

Can I use EOS at night, or NYX in the morning?
While it is perfectly fine if you want to choose between the two and only use one for day and night routine, they're formulated for their specific moment. NYX contains sea buckthorn oil for overnight repair, EOS contains açaí berry for daytime protection.

We'd always recommend using each as intended. We have created a the Night & Day Set which means you're never caught without the right one.

If you really want to only choose one: Choose Nyx if you have mature skin and you're concerned about fine lines, choose Eos if you're more concerned about protection as that's great for younger skin.
